We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

[Revival] only come when He sends it. He only sends it when His people need it. Surely we His people need it now.
Richard Owen Roberts

The more we begin to serve God and trust God and seek God, the less we will worry. Worry is evidence that we desire to serve and trust and seek ourselves. When we find in God our total sufficiency, we will glorify Him in the process and receive the promised peace and contentment that surpasses all understanding. Psalm 34:4, “I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.' While Mary was clinging to the Lord, Jesus said to that stressed-out sister: “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her” (Lk. 10:41-42). May we realize that the cure for worry is God Himself and may we always be found seeking Him!

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Dairy American Kids, Misc 6 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 Brussel sprouts
1/4 ts Salt
4 oz American cheese; grated
2 tb Milk
10 Iceberg lettuce leaves
1/4 ts Paprika

INSTRUCTIONS

Recipe by: Creepy Cuisine, Lucy Munroe
Wash the Brussels sprouts and remove any discolored leaves. Trim off
the stem ends and cut an X into the bottom of each sprout to make sure your
tonsils cook nice and tender. Place the sprouts in a pot containing about 2
inches of water and sprinkle with the salt. Cover the pot and cook over
medium heat until boiling. After 8 to 10 minutes, carefully stab a few
sprouts with a fork to see if they're tender. When you can easily pierce
them through to their centers, remove the pot from the heat and carefully
drain the sprouts in a colander. Place the grated cheese in a small
saucepan and add the milk. Simmer over low heat, stirring continuously with
a wooden spoon until the cheese melts. Remove the saucepan from the heat as
soon as the cheese melts. Arrange a bed of washed lettuce leaves on a
platter. Place the gorilla tonsils ~ in pairs, of course - on the leaves.
Drizzle the melted cheese (pus) over the tonsils. Sprinkle with paprika
(blood specks) and serve.
