Gratin Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

3 tb Melted butter
1 1/2 ts Chopped garlic
6 Idaho Potatoes, medium sized, sliced 1/8 -inch thick
2 c Heavy cream white pepper to taste salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350! F. Baste 13 x 9 inch shallow, stainless steel pan with
butter. Rub chopped garlic on bottom and sides of basted pan. Layer sliced,
peeled Idaho Potatoes. Pour heavy cream to cover potatoes. Use rubber
spatula to mix. Salt and pepper to taste. (If potatoes absorb the cream,
add more cream to cover potatoes.) Cover and bring to a full simmer in 350!
F oven, about five minutes. Continue to bake in oven at 350! F, uncovered,
for 45 minutes or until potatoes are lightly browned and tender. (
