Green Peppercorn Ham Spread

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Smoked ham, minced
1 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c Ground walnuts
1/4 c Minced onions
1/2 c Mayonnaise or salad dressing
3 tb Drained peppercorns*
1 tb Minced parsley
1/2 ts Dijon-style mustard
1/8 ts Ground white pepper
Wheat crackers

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients except crackers until blended; refrigerate several
hours for flavors to blend.  Spoon mixture into serving bowl; serve with
crackers.  *Peppercorns are available in large supermarkets and specialty
food shops.  Spread can be made 3 days in advance; refrigerate covered.
