God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Chicago 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

6 c Ground green tomatoes
4 c Sugar
1 6 oz. package raspberry Jello

INSTRUCTIONS

Grind the tomatoes in a food processor or in a blender. Place the tomatoes
and sugar in a large non-metallic pot and boil for 20 minutes, skimming the
foam. Remove from heat and quickly add the package of Jello. Stir until the
Jello is dissolved and immediately put into hot, sterilized jars.
Immediately cover with hot paraffin.
Tastes just like raspberry jam. This is a good way to use green tomatoes
and is great for gift giving.
The next time I make this jam, I will half the recipe and experiment using
strawberry Jello.

A Message from our Provider:

“The thankful heart sees the best part of every situation. It sees problems and weaknesses as opportunities, struggles as refining tools, and sinners as saints in progress. #Francis Frangipane”
