INGREDIENTS

2 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Salt
1 ts Baking powder
1/3 c Sugar (white)
1 ts Baking soda
2 c Ground quick cooking –
Rolled oats
1/2 c Molasses
2 tb Melted shortening
2 c Sour milk
1 c Raisins

INSTRUCTIONS

Sift the first five ingredients together.  Add the oats, molasses, melted
shortening and milk.  Mix thoroughly and add the raisins. Pour into a large
greased loaf pan.  Let it set for 20 minutes then bake about 1 hour at
350F. Note: The rolled oats may be ground with a rolling pin or in the meat
