INGREDIENTS

1 1/3 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
2 ts Ground cinnamon
1 ts Ground allspice
1/2 ts Nutmeg, grated
1/4 ts Ground cloves
1/2 c Dark molasses
3/4 c Light brown sugar, packed
1/4 c Oil
1/4 c Apple butter
2 lg Eggs
1 1/2 c Raisins

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil a 9 x 13 inch baking dish or
coat it with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt,
cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and cloves. In a large bowl, beat together
molasses, brown sugar, oil, apple butter and eggs with an electric mixer
until smooth. Add the dry ingredients and beat on low speed just until
combined. Stir in raisins.
Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish; smooth the top. Bake for
20 to 25 minutes, or until the batter feels "set" when lightly pressed in
the center.
Let cool in the baking dish on a rack. Cut into 20 bars. Store at room
temperature in an airtight container.
