INGREDIENTS

1 15 oz can pork and beans
1 14 oz can butter beans; drained
6 sl Bacon
1 Green bell pepper; cut in strips
1 md Onion
1 3 oz can sliced mushrooms; drained
1/2 c Catsup
2 tb Prepared mustard
2/3 c Maple syrup (may use part molasses)
1 ts Oregano
8 Cloves, whole
2 Bay leaf
1/3 c Red wine (optional)
1 c Diced green chiles (or more to taste); roasted and
1 c Serrano chiles (or more to taste); sliced in rings

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut bacon slices in half and cook over medium heat, add green pepper and
onion.  Cook until onion is beginning to turn translucent and bacon is
cooked but not crisp.  Add all other ingredients. Stir and heat.
