Maple Glazed Pork

INGREDIENTS

4 Pork loin chops; bone in, 1 inch thick, patted dry
1/2 c All purpose flour
2 tb Unsalted butter
1/4 c Cider vinegar
1/4 c Plus 2 Tbs. maple syrup
1/2 c Brown sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Prep: 5 min, Cook: 25 min.
Preheat oven to 450°F. Season pork with salt and pepper to taste. Dredge
pork in flour and shake off excess. Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over high
heat. Add butter and sear chops 4-5 minutes, turning frequently, or until
browned. Transfer pork to a shallow roasting pan and bake 10-15 minutes or
until pork is just cooked throughout. Discard drippings from skillet and
heat over medium high heat. Add vinegar to skillet, stirring with a wooden
spoon to deglaze. Stir in maple syrup and reduce heat to low. Cover skillet
and simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat and keep warm. Turn on broiler.
Place pork chops on broiler pan. Top each pork chop with brown sugar. Broil
1 minute or until pork chops are glazed and sugar has turned dark brown.
Serve chops with sauce.
