INGREDIENTS

1 c Sugar
2 ts Cinnamon
Oil for frying
1 Lime; quartered
1 cn (17.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands Refrigerated Buttermilk biscuits

INSTRUCTIONS

In shallow dish or pie pan, combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Pour oil
into large skillet until 1/2" deep; add lime pieces. Heat to 375 degrees.
With slotted spoon, remove lime pieces from oil; discard. Separate dough
into 8 biscuits. Working with 1 biscuit at a time, roll each biscuit into a
6" circle. Cut each circle into 1" strips. Add strips to hot oil; fry,
turning until brown on both sides. Remove with slotted spoon; place on
paper towels. Immediately roll in sugar mixture. Serve hot. 4 dozen
fritters
