Minestra Of Rice And Cabbage

Grains Cabbage, Ham 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1/2 Small head cabbage, cut
1 3/4-inch diameter
1 qt Boiling water
2 To 3 oz raw ham, chopped
1/2 c Canned tomatoes
1/4 c Long grain white rice
1 t Salt
Soy sauce
1 Stalk celery, chopped fine

INSTRUCTIONS

Saute ham and celery for 5 minutes. Add ham, celery and rice to  water;
cook until rice is almost done. Add cabbage, cook until  tender. Just
before completion, add tomatoes and salt. Serve with soy  sauce. Recipe
