We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Hold fast to the hope you have in Jesus, knowing that He has overcome the world. Let His resurrection power fill you with confidence and assurance, as you eagerly await the fulfillment of His promises.

INSTRUCTIONS

This is another gift from the Indians, a gift we now call succotash. In
the early days, however, red beans were used rather than lima beans. Soak
and cook the beans first, drain them, and place them in a casserole with
fresh-cut corn kernels (or frozen), a bit of butter, salt, and pepper, and
a very small amount of water. Cover and simmer on the top of the stove for
a few minutes, until the corn is tender.
In the old days this dish was made with bear grease rather than butter.
If you are out of butter or bear grease, try olive oil. It is very good!
