If thankfulness does not move us to serve God, then we do not truly understand who our God is and what He has done in our behalf. Without gratitude for Christ’s sacrificial love, our duty will become nothing more than drudgery and our God nothing more than a dissatisfied boss.

Mock Oatmeal Cookies

INGREDIENTS

MARILYN SULTAR
2 c Matzo Meal
2 c Matzo Farfel
1 1/2 c Sugar
1 c Raisins
1 c Nuts; Chopped
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Salt
2/3 c Vegetable Oil
4 x Eggs

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine dry ingredients. Beat in eggs and oil. Drop by teaspoon on a
greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) about 1/2 hr.
Makes about 4 doz. I can't eat just one of these at a time!! The cinnamon
makes them ummmm ummmmm gooood!! This recipe comes from my earlier edition
of the "Rochester Hadassah Cookbook."
