Molasses Corn Bread

INGREDIENTS

2 c Bisquick mix
1/2 c Whole wheat flour
1/2 c Cornmeal
1/3 c Sugar
1 ts Baking powder
1 1/4 c Water
1/3 c Dark molasses
1 Egg

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven 350°. grease bottom of loaf pan, 9x5x3. Mix all ingredients until
moistened. Pour into pan. Bake 50 to 50 minutes or until wooden pick comes
out clean.
Variation: chop raisins very fine and add. Can do the same with walnuts.
Need to be finely chopped.
NOTES : This taste good with warm peanut butter and syrup poured over a
slice.
