Mom’s (calhoun) Spaghetti Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1 Onion, sliced
4 Garlic cloves, crushed
1 lb Ground beef
14 1/2 oz Stewed tomatoes
14 oz Italian sauce, save jar-or
use
can of spaghetti
sauce
Garlic salt
Oregano
Mint
Parsley, dried
Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Brown meat. Add garlic salt and then onion and garlic. Stir. Add
stewed tomatoes and spaghetti sauce. Stir. Add oregano, mint,  parsley,
and pepper. Mix. Then fill 1/2 of jar w/ water and add to  sauce. Add
more water if needed later. Cook on high until bubbling.  Turn down to
low heat and cook for at least an hour.  Per serving: 198 Calories
