INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c Oatmeal
1 t Baking Powder
1 c Butter
1 t Baking Soda
1 c Brown Sugar, Packed
12 oz Chocolate Chips
1 c Sugar
1 4 oz Hershey Bar, Grated
2 Eggs
1 1/2 c Walnuts or Pecans, chopped
1 t Vanilla
2 c Flour
1/2 t Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Process the oatmeal into a fine
powder using a blender or food processor. Set aside. Cream the butter
with both sugars. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat in the  vanilla.
Beat in the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and  oatmeal. Stir
in the chocolate chips, grated Hershey bar and nuts.  Roll into balls.
Place 2" apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10  minutes.  File
