We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

A man who is eating or lying with his wife or preparing to go to sleep in humility, thankfulness and temperance, is, by Christian standards, in an infinitely higher state than one who is listening to Bach or reading Plato in a state of pride.

2 oz Unsweetened chocolate
1 qt Milk, scalded
2 c Bread crumbs, * see note
1/3 c Sugar
1/4 c Butter, melted
2 Eggs, slightly beaten

into bits and melt in the scalded milk, stirring until smooth. Add the
bread crumbs and set aside to cool. When lukewarm, add remaining
