Oven-Roasted Sesame Asparagus

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Asparagus
1 tb Olive oil
1 tb Soya sauce
2 ts Balsamic vinegar
1 tb Toasted sesame seeds
1/2 ts Toasted sesame oil (opt)

INSTRUCTIONS

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400
13"X9" BAKING DISH
Snap off tough asparagus ends and, if large, peel stalks.  Arrange in a
single layer in baking dish.  Drizzle with oil; roast in oven, stirring
occasionally, for 15 minutes.
In a bowl combine soya sauce and balsamic vinegar; drizzle over asparagus.
Roast 5 minutes more or until tender-crisp.  Remove from oven; sprinkle
with sesame seeds and sesame oil, if using.  Yield: 4 servings Typed in
