INGREDIENTS

3/4 c Peanut butter
1/2 c Shortening
1/3 c Sugar
1/3 c Packed light brown sugar
1 Egg
2 tb Milk
1 ts Vanilla
1 1/2 c Unsifted all-purpose flour
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
Sugar
54 Hershey Kisses unwrapped

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend peanut butter and shortening in large mixer bowl. Add 1/3 cup sugar
and the brown sugar;cream until light and fluffy. Add egg,milk and vanilla;
beat well. Combine flour,baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed
mixture. Blend well,. Shape dough into 1 inch balls; roll in sugar. Place
on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or
until lightly browned. Remove from oven;immediately place unwrapped kiss on
top of each cookie, pressing down so that the cookie cracks around edge.
Remove from cookie sheet;cool on wire rack. about 4 dozen cookies. Posted
