Pear-ginger Crisp

INGREDIENTS

8 Firm pears, cored & cut
into
1" cubes
3 T Minced ginger root
1/2 c Honey
Zest and juice of 1 orange
2 c Old-fashioned oatmeal
1/2 c Whole wheat flour
1/2 c Vegetable oil or butter
1/2 c Brown sugar
1/2 c Chopped hazelnuts

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 F and lightly spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. In
a large bowl, gently toss pears with ginger, honey, zest, and juice.
Spread fruit mixture into prepared baking dish and bake for 10
minutes. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. In a food processor,
combine oatmeal, flour, sugar, and hazelnuts. Pulse lightly about 3
times to create a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle mixture evenly over  fruit.
Return casserole to oven and bake for about 20 minutes until  golden
