Pecan Pralines

INGREDIENTS

3 c White sugar (you can use 1 cup of brown for variety)
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Cocoa
1 c Evaporated milk
3 c Whole or chopped pecans (up to 4)
3/4 Stick butter
1 ts Vanilla or almond flavoring

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend sugar, salt, cocoa and milk. Boil till the mixture reaches the
soft-ball stage, about 10-15 mins. Stir constantly. Take off heat and add
pecans, butter, flavoring. Stir vigorously. Dip onto wax paper or buttered
foil. Reheat with a little more milk if it gets too crusty.
