It will sustain the soul in the darkest and most dreary places of this world. It will hold in check the demons of despair, and stifle the power of discouragement and hopelessness. It is the brightest star that ever cast its radiance over the darkened soul, and one that seldom sets in the gloom of morbid fancies and forboding imaginations.

Eggs, Grains Jewish 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

FOR 9" x 9" PAN:
4 Eggs
2 c Sugar**
1/2 c Oil
1/4 c Orange juice
1/4 c Wine or grape juice
4 tb Cocoa
1/2 c Cake meal
1/2 c Matza meal
1/2 c Potato starch
1/2 c Chopped nuts
FOR 9" x 13" PAN:
6 Eggs
3 c Sugar**
3/4 c Oil
1/3 c Orange juice
1/3 c Wine or grape juice
6 tb Cocoa
3/4 c Cake meal
3/4 c Matza meal
3/4 c Potato starch
3/4 c Chopped nuts

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Beat eggs and sugar, until light.
2. Add oil, OJ and wine. Mix well.
3. Add remaining dry ingredients. Mix well.
4. Pour into greased pan.
5. Sprinkle with nuts.
6. Bake 30 minutes.
** can reduce amount of sugar used without loss of sweet taste. also you
can use more wine or grape juice instead of the OJ
Preheat oven to 350F.
