INGREDIENTS

1 lb Lean or regular ground beef
1 md Onion; chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1 sm Green bell pepper; chopped (about 1/3 cup)
1 cn (8-oz) pizza sauce
1 cn (4-oz) mushroom stems and pieces; drained
1 c Shredded Mozzarella cheese (4-oz)
1 c Bisquick original baking mix
1/4 c Boiling water
Grated Parmesan cheese; if desired
Italian seasoning; if desired

INSTRUCTIONS

HEAT oven to 375 deg. Grease four 10- to 12-ounce casseroles.
COOK ground beef, onion and bell pepper in 10-inch skillet, stirring
frequently, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in pizza sauce and moshrooms.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 5 minutes, stirring
occasionally.  Spoon 1/2 of beef mixture into casseroles. Sprinkle 1/4 cup
mozzarella cheese on each. Spoon remaining beef mixture over cheese.
MIX baking mix and boiling water; beat vigorously 20 seconds. Turn dough
onto surface dusted with baking mix; gently roll in baking mix to coat.
Shape into ball; knead about 10 times or until smooth. Divide dough into 4
balls. Pat each ball into circle the size of diameter ofcasserole. Cut out
desired shapes from dough with small cookie cutters if desired. Place each
circle on beef mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and ltalian
seasoning. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until very light brown. 4 servings.
