Polenta with Salsiccia

INGREDIENTS

3/4 c Polenta — (at the Supers)
2 c Chicken broth
1/2 ts Salt
Sauce:
2 tb Oil
1/2 ts Garlic powder
4 tb Chopped onion
1/4 ts Oregano
3/4 Qrt
4 tb Water
Salt and pepper — to taste
6 Italian Hot sausages — cut
In half
2 c Water
1 Handful
Canned tomatoes
Parmesan cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

To make the sauce, add [2 tbls] olive oil in a pan, add chopped onions and
cook until tender. Add canned tomatoes, garlic powder, oregano and water.
Cook until thick. Add sausages and cook to- gether for about 5 minutes. To
make the polenta, heat chicken broth until hot, add polenta and salt. Cook
until thick. (can be eaten with a spoon) Place hot cooked polenta in
individual warm serving dishes. Top with sauce, sausages and parmesan
cheese.
