INGREDIENTS

2 lb Round, Sirloin, Or Flank Steak
Cooking Oil
2 tb Soy Sauce
1 1/2 tb Sherry
2 ts Sugar
1 ts Cornstarch
1 lg Onion, coarsely chopped
1 lg Green Bell Pepper, coarsely chopped
2 md Tomatoes, sliced
1/4 c Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Slice meat 1" wide by 1/8" thick. Brown in oil in skillet. Make sauce of
soy sauce, sherry, sugar, and cornstarch; add to meat and marinate for 10
minutes. Coarsely chop onion and add to meat. Cut pepper into large chunks
and add to me meat. Cook for 5 minutes. Slice tomatoes and add to meat with
water. Cook for 3 minutes. Less expensive cuts of meat may need longer
cooking time.
Serves: 4
