Pumpkin-walnut Bread

INGREDIENTS

2 c Sifted all-purpose flour
2 t Baking powder
1/2 t Baking soda
1 t Salt
1/2 t Ground nutmeg
1 t Ground cinnamon
2 Eggs, well beaten
1/2 c Milk, canned condensed not
sweetened Carnation milk
1 c Sugar
1 c Canned pumpkin
1/4 c Butter or margarine, 1/2
stick
1 c Chopped walnuts

INSTRUCTIONS

Sift flour, baking powder, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon into a bowl.  Beat
eggs, milk, sugar, pumpkin and butter into large bowl until well
blended.  Stir in the dry ingredients until mixture is smooth. Fold in
nuts.  Spoon into a greased 9 x 5 X 3 inch loaf pan.  Bake in a
moderate oven 350 for about 55 minutes or until a wooden  tooth pick
inserted into the center of th eloaf comes out clean.  Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pan,when completely cooled,wrap in  plastic and
