Quick Cheese and Pepper Bread

INGREDIENTS

2 c Flour
1 c Sharp cheddar cheese; grated
1 ts Sugar
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Fresh pepper
1 c Buttermilk
1/3 c Margarine
2 Eggs

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom only of 9X5 loaf pan.
2. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup, level off.
3. In a medium bowl combine flour, cheese, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt
and pepper.
4. In a small bowl combine buttermilk, margarine and eggs; blend well and
add to dry mixture.
5. Stir ingredients until just moistened, and pour into greased pan.
6. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Cool completely on a wire rack, wrap and store in the refrigerator.
