Quick Orange-date Bread

INGREDIENTS
2/3 | c | Orange juice |
3 | T | Orange rind |
3 | T | Melted butter |
1/2 | c | Finely chopped dates |
1 | c | Sugar |
1 | Egg, slightly beaten | |
1/2 | c | Chopped nuts |
2 | c | Flour |
1/2 | t | Baking soda |
1 | t | Baking powder |
1/2 | t | Salt |
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine juice, rind, butter, dates, sugar, egg and nuts. Sift dry ingredients and add to orange mixture. Mix well and pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Makes a great Christmas gift!
