4 Serrano red chilies; seeded and sliced
4 tb Cilantro roots
1 3/4 ts Paprika
3 Garlic cloves; peeled and minced
2 tb Brown sugar
2 tb Fish sauce

2 tb Indonesian soy sauce; (optional)
3 tb Corn oil
2 lb Jumbo shrimp; (about 32)

Several spicy recipes from different countries at NY Daily News. Here is a
sample
In food processor, blend chilies, cilantro, paprika, garlic, brown sugar,
fish sauce, lemon juice and Indonesian soy sauce. Process until mixture
forms a paste. Transfer to a bowl and stir in oil. Let shrimp marinate in
paste 15 minutes.
Grill or sear the shrimp for 2 minutes on each side or until they turn
pink. Place each shrimp on a 6-inch skewer and serve.
