Sauce Rose – Tomato Cheese Sauce

INGREDIENTS

4 T Butter
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 14 oz of crushed tomatoes
1 t Basil
Salt & fresh ground pepper
1 1/2 T Flour
1 1/2 c Hot milk
1 t Nutmeg
1/4 c Parmesan cheese, fresh

INSTRUCTIONS

Melt 2 tbsp butter and saut garlic. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and
basil. Simmer while preparing rest of dish. Melt remaining 2 tbsp of
butter and stir in flour. Cook, stirring until thickened. Gradually
add hot milk, cook and stir until thickened. Add tomato mixture and
