Sausage And Garlic Bread Kabobs

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb Cooked mild Italian sausage links, cut into 1" pieces
16 ( 1 inch) cubes French bread
16 ( 1/2 inch thick) slices yellow summer squash or zucchini
2 tb Purchased garlic spread, melted
1 tb Chopped fresh parsley, if desired

INSTRUCTIONS

Grill directions:  Heat grill.  Alternately thread sausage, bread and
squash evenly onto four 12 to 14 inch metal skewers.  In small bowl,
combine melted garlic spread and parsley.  Brush mixture over kabobs.
When ready to grill, place kabobs on gas grill over medium heat or on
charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals.  Cook about 6 minutes or
until vegetables are tender and bread is golden brown, turning once.
Note:  To broil, place kabobs on broiler pan; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat
using times above as guide.  Yield: 4 kabobs  Typed in MMFormat by
