Sicilian Pasta With Meat Sauce

INGREDIENTS

2 t Olive oil
1 c Onions, finely chopped
2 t Garlic, minced
1 t Cumin
1/2 t Cinnamon
1 lb Ground beef, lean
1 t Salt
1/2 t Fresh ground black pepper
2 T Tomato paste
28 oz Can
1/3 c Raisins, seedless
1 lb Pasta, cooked
1/4 c Parsley, chopped
1/4 c Pine nuts, toasted
Tomatoes

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.  Add onions and cook,
stirring, until translucent, 5 minutes.  Stir in garlic, cumin and
cinnamon and cook 30 seconds.   Add beef, salt and pepper; cook
crumbling beef with spoon, until browned, 5 minutes. Stir in tomato
paste, tomatoes with their liquid and raisins.  Bring to boil,  breakig
up tomatoes with spoon. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.  Toss sauce
with pasta and parsley. Sprinkle with pine nuts.  Recipe By     :
