INSTRUCTIONS
Mix shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and stir well. Combine
flour, cinnamon and cloves. Stir in soda/applesauce mixture, vanilla and
then dry ingredients. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes.
