INGREDIENTS

3 c Brown sugar, 1 lb. box
1 c Boiling water
1 To 2
Pieces
1 t Whole allspice
1/2 t Whole cloves
Zest of one orange or one
Lemon
1 t Maple extract, optional
1/4 t Almond extract
Cinnamon sticks, in

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix brown sugar and water together. Add wholr spices and citrus zest.
Cover and let steep for several hours. Taste to see if spicy enough
and if so, strain into container with cover. Stir in maple and almond
