INGREDIENTS

1 cn (large) pork & beans (about 3 pounds)
1/2 lb Pork bbq (shredded)
1 Green bell pepper (chopped)
1 Red bell pepper (chopped)
1 Jalapenos (seeded and chopped) (up to 2)
1 lg Onion, preferable vidalia (chopped)
3 Stalks celery (chopped) (up to 4)
1/2 c Bbq sauce (I cheat using Calhoun's from Knoxville) (up to 3/4)
1 tb Prepared mustard (usually brown) (up to 2)
2 tb Brown sugar (up to 3)
1/4 c Molasses, about
1 tb Worcestershire sauce (up to 2)
Couple of shakes of favorite hot sauce (i.e. Durkee's)
1 ts Salt, about
1 ts Black pepper, about
1 ts Garlic powder, about
1 tb Chili powder, about
1 tb Cumin, about
1 Bottle minus several healthy swallows 🙂 beer (I usually use something dark… like a Nut Brown Ale)

INSTRUCTIONS

(please forgive the approximations... I rarely measure)
mix in a sturdy aluminum pan or an old pot ...don't use your wife's
favorite :-(
smoke for about 6 hrs. (or 'till the ribs are done)
suggested - about 1 hour before serving, ingest a Pepsid AC or equivalent
