Smucker’s Peach Ginger Chutney

INGREDIENTS

2 c Fresh or frozen peaches, cut into large pieces
3 tb Fresh chopped ginger
4 tb Fresh chopped ginger
4 tb White vinegar
1/3 c Raisins
1 Orange cut into large strips zest of
1 Jar (12-ounce) Smucker's Peach Preserves
1/2 c Thinly sliced white onions
1 1/2 c Water
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Hot pepper flakes

INSTRUCTIONS

Smucker's Peach Ginger Chutney is a gourmet's delight and makes a quick and
easy topping or accompaniment for baked chicken and pork roasts.
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 - 35 minutes until mixture thickens.
Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Cool, then pack into decorative
jars. Keep refrigerated or canned, using proper heat sterilization methods.
Nutritional information per 2 tablespoon serving: 36 calories; 0g fat; 0g
sat. fat; 0mg cholesterol; 1mg sodium; 0g protein; 9g carbohydrate.
Yield: 3 12-ounce containers. Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time
