Remove from the heat and blend in 1/2 cup of dairy sour cream, 1 Tsp Vanilla extract and 1/4 Tsp Salt. Gradually add enough sifted powdered sugar (2 1/2 to 2 3/4 cups) to reach a spreading consistency. Beat well.
