INSTRUCTIONS
Recipe from Charleston Receipts
Fry bacon with okra cut in rings When okra is tender, add rice, water,
salt and pepper. Put in rice steamer and cook until dry about 1 1/2 hours.
Serves 4-6
Top of Stove: increase water to 1 3/4 cups, cook 30-45 minutes.
