Spice Island Butterscotch Bars

INGREDIENTS

1 3/4 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Ground ginger
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Ground cloves
3/4 c Plus
2 tb Vegetable oil
1/2 c Molasses
1/4 c Firmly packed brown sugar
1 Egg
1 c Chopped nuts
1/2 pk (12-oz) Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels
Confectioners' sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, ginger, baking
soda and cloves; set aside. In large bowl, combine vegetable oil, molasses,
brown sugar and egg; beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in
nuts and Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels. Pour into greased
13x9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool
completely on wire rack. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Cut into
2x1-inch bars.  Makes 4-1/2 dozen 2x1-inch bars.
