INSTRUCTIONS
Boil sugar and 3/4 cup water about 5 minutes. Combine 1 cup of the syrup
with spices and cook 5 minutes. Strain. Add juice of lemons and quart of
water. Chill. Pour over ice cubes when ready to serve. Lemon-decorated ice
cubes or cubes with whole cloves frozen in them will add appeal to this
summertime favorite. Yield: 6 servings.
