Spiced String Beans

INGREDIENTS

3 lb Fresh string beans; (I used 900 grams of frozen string beans)
2 ts Salt
1/4 c Oil
1/4 ts Turmeric
1/2 ts Cumin
1/4 c Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Use: 3 qt. saucepan
Wash and trim beans. Put all the ingredients into a 3-quart saucepan and
mix well. Cook, covered on a small flame for 30 minutes. Serve warm or
cold. Note:Do not substitute or omit spices.
