Let us thank God heartily as often as we pray that we have His Spirit in us to teach us to pray. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Soy sauce
2 tb Black vinegar; or Chinkiang vinegar
1 ts Chile paste
1/2 ts Sugar
1 tb Minced garlic

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine ingredients in a small bowl and serve with "Shao Mai - (Pork
Dumplings)" (the recipe for which is included in this collection) or
similar dishes. This recipe yields 2/3 cup sauce.
