Spicy Potato Soup

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Ground beef
4 c Potatoes, peeled, in 1/2" cubes
1 sm Onion, chopped
24 oz Tomato sauce
4 c Water
2 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Pepper
1/2 ts Hot pepper sauce (up to 1)

INSTRUCTIONS

In a Dutch oven or large kettle, brown ground beef. Drain. Add potatoes,
onion and tomato sauce. Stir in water, salt, pepper nad hot pepper sauce;
bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until the potatoes
are tender and the soup has thickened. Yield: 2 quarts, serves 6-8. MC
