Steamed Asparagus With Herbed Mustard Sauce

INGREDIENTS

500 g Fresh asparagus spears
3 T Mayonnaise
2 T Sour cream or yoghurt
1 T Seeded mustard
1 T Fresh dill, chopped
1 T Fresh parsley, chopped
1 T Capers, rinsed and finely
minced
Shavings of parmesan cheese
Black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Trim the bottom ends of the asparagus.  Steam, poach or microwave the
asparagus until just tender. To  microwave, place the spears on a
plate, pointed tips inward, sprinkle  over 1 teaspoon of water and
cover with plastic wrap. Cook on 'high'  for approximately 2 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the sauce, mix all the remaining ingredients together
until smooth.  To serve, drizzle the sauce over the warm asparagus, top
with  shavings of parmesan cheese and black pepper.  Converted by
