Steamed Asparagus with Herbed Mustard Sauce

INGREDIENTS

500 g Fresh asparagus spears
3 tb Mayonnaise
2 tb Sour cream or yoghurt
1 tb Seeded mustard
1 tb Fresh dill; chopped
1 tb Fresh parsley; chopped
1 tb Capers; rinsed and finely
; minced
Shavings of parmesan cheese
Black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Trim the bottom ends of the asparagus.
Steam, poach or microwave the asparagus until just tender. To microwave,
place the spears on a plate, pointed tips inward, sprinkle over 1 teaspoon
of water and cover with plastic wrap. Cook on 'high' for approximately 2
minutes.
Meanwhile, make the sauce, mix all the remaining ingredients together until
smooth.
To serve, drizzle the sauce over the warm asparagus, top with shavings of
parmesan cheese and black pepper.
