Stir Fried Beef With Anise Hyssop

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Steak, cut across the grain
into strips 3 inches long
and 1/2 inch wide
1/2 c Chopped anise hyssop flowers
and leaves
1/3 c Soy sauce
1 T Brown sugar
2 T Sherry
2 T Vegetable oil
1/4 c Water
2 t Cornstarch dissolved in:
2 t Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Apr 1995 11:28:04 GMT Combine flank steak with chopped  anise hyssop,
soy sauce, brown sugar, and sherry.  Marinate at least  2 hours.
Remove meat from marinade, reserving liquid.  Heat wok, add oil and
stir fry meat for 3 minutes. Add water and marinade and heat to
boiling. Add cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened.  Serve over
