Stir-fried Dried Abalone W/oyster Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb Dried abalone
1 T Cornstarch
2 T Water
2 T Oil
1/2 t Salt
1/2 c Stock
2 T Oyster sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Soak dried abalone and cut in 1/8-inch slices. Blend cornstarch and
cold water to a paste. Heat oil. Stir in salt; then add abalone
slices; stir-fry to coat with oil. Add stock and oyster sauce and
cook, stirring, 1 minute. Then cover and cook 2 minutes more over
medium heat. Stir in cornstarch paste to thicken and serve.  From <The
