Stir-fried Shrimp With Anise

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Shrimp
1 1/2 T Sherry
1 T Soy sauce
1/2 t Sugar
1/2 c Stock
3 T Oil
1/8 t Powdered anise

INSTRUCTIONS

Shell and devein shrimp; cut lengthwise in half if large. Combine
sherry, soy sauce, sugar and stock. Heat oil. Add shrimp and stir-fry
until pinkish. Stir in sherry-soy mixture and heat quickly. Then  cook,
covered, 2 minutes over medium heat. Sprinkle shrimp with  powdered
