Strawberry-peach Crisp

INGREDIENTS

2 c Sliced strawberries
2 c Sliced peaches
3/4 c Sugar
1 T Lemon juice
3 c Whole-wheat flour
2 t Cinnamon
Pinch freshly grated nutmeg
1 c Whole-wheat flour
3/4 c Light brown sugar
2 c Unsalted butter, melted
2 t Cinnamon
2 c Quick oats

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Mix the strawberries, peaches, lemon
juice, sugar, whole-wheat flour,  cinnamon, and nutmeg in an 8-inch
square baking dish.  Make the topping by tossing together the
whole-wheat flour, sugar,  oats, butter, and cinnamon. Sprinkle the
topping mixture over the  strawberry-peach filling.  Bake for 35
minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and crisp.  Serve with
ice cream or whipped cream.  Yield: 6-8 Servings Recipe By
