INGREDIENTS

1 qt Ripe tomatoes; peeled and chopped
1 1/2 c Celery; finely chopped
1 c Onion; finely chopped
1 Apple; chopped
2 tb Horseradish
2 tb Salt
2 tb Mustard seed
1/3 c Brown sugar
1/4 ts Cloves
1/4 ts Mace
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 ds Cayenne
1 1/2 c Vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate. If too juicy, drain
off some liquid. Makes about 11/2 quarts.
Tootie Notes: This keeps very well in the frig-be sure to cover it with a
tight fitting lid. It will give the frig a "rich" smell otherwise. This is
good with so many things. Red beans for one thing.
