INSTRUCTIONS
This is an old recipe from the Sun-Maid Raisin company that my son (he's 9
now) and I have made for years together. He's picky; it's good. You can add
spices (cinnamon or nutmeg) with the oil, too.
Combine oats, coconut, wheat germ, nuts and salt in a large bowl. Stir in
condensed milk; add oil and mix thoroughly. Spread mixture on shallow
baking pan lined with waxed paper. Bake in 300 degree oven, stirring
occasionally, 1 hour or until golden. Remove from oven and stir in raisins
while still warm. Store in a tightly covered container. Makes 8 cups.
